But there’s another aspect, I can also find someone physically attractive. In that respect, among other, I have a thing for plus-size women. And when thinking about it: How many famous actresses would classify as plus size? I cannot think of any right now. I am sure I would have had a crush on a plus-size actress. But there do not seem to be any. At least not a lot, for sure. Which is a bit unfair, I have to say. A bit discriminating. TV and films should show more plus size women.
With whatever haircut, even though I only give examples of a few here.

With my definition of celebrity crushes, I actually keep having small celebrity crushes even at 46. It’s more that I admire someone when I see them. I wouldn’t do what I did as a teenager, then watch entire films just to admire someone. I’m a bit too old for that.

First of all, for me, per definition, “celebrity crush” means a person I find to be very attractive and I can’t stop watching because I find them very beautiful. I don’t mean an obsession. I never had that. Even as a teenager, I could only have that in real life. A real crush. Permanently thinking about someone. Celebrities were never “real” for me in that sense. And hey, as you will see, there are a lot that have fascinated me, more or less (whereas in real life, it hasn’t been very many). But always just when I was seeing them (or, with singers, also listening to them). So, that’s my definition of celebrity crush.

Seems like I, when watching sports, always find an athlete I find very pretty, where I am waiting for the camera to show her. It’s stupid but it’s true.
So, this one developed into a really big post, way too much. But I felt like writing this down. If not for anyone else, it’s interesting for me to reflect on this.

But well, that’s it from me. Yes, I am quite fascinated with female beauty. Mostly, it’s the eyes, definitely. The eyes and the face. But it’s even more fascinating when personality fascinates you as well. That’s the real deal. In real life. And on TV or in videos, you can just admire looks and personality. Here it was just the music videos. “Not If You Were The Last Junkie on Earth”: You do not even see her that much, on keyboards and tambourine. But every time the video came on, I had to watch, I was waiting for those moments. Wow. It wasn’t more than that though, really.
And yeah, in more recent years, I still have this, when watching TV or music videos, that I then find someone super pretty and just enjoy watching them. Their faces, their facial expressions.
Shirley, to me, while also a really likeable and cool person, it seems (from interviews), was one thing above all: SEXY.
